Partnership Projects Initiative

The goal of this initiative is to support the development of research expertise along with global and regional communities of practice by establishing global collaborations in computing education research.

We invite researchers of all career stages to apply to participate in this initiative. On the application you provide information about yourself, your experience and interests, and your personal goals for participating in the programme. Based on geographic location, career stage, and research topic of interest, we will match and connect applicants. Then you will conduct your own research projects. We will aim to form partnerships representing multiple countries or continents and spanning different levels of research experience.

There is no funding associated with the PPI.  Well-designed Computing Education Research is appropriate to the context of the study, and can usually be conducted without additional resources.

When you are ready to present your work, you may decide to submit something to CompEd 2025, but this isn’t a requirement. You might instead decide to submit earlier or later to another venue.

To support partnerships that wish to get started early and participants who aren’t ready to commit until a bit later, we will conduct three rounds of applicant matching.
